Although he didn't suit widely known until the 1970s, Dr. John had been industrious in the music industry since the former '50s, when the teenager was yet known as Mac Rebennack. A fearful boogie and blues pianist with a worthy of love growl of a voice, his particularly enduring achievements have fused New Orleans R&B, place of refuge, and Mardi Gras craziness to arrive up with his own brand of "voodoo" suitableness.
